1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Dayleveling mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Dayleveling ("we," "our," or "us"). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Dayleveling is a personal productivity and wellness application that provides the following features:

• Habit Tracking: Create, schedule, and track daily habits with streak monitoring and progress analytics.
• Nutrition Tracking: Log meals through AI-powered food scanning (camera), text description, or manual entry. View calorie and macronutrient breakdowns.
• Water Intake Tracking: Log daily water consumption with customizable goals and smart reminders.
• Weight Tracking: Record body weight over time with trend analysis and BMI calculation.
• Expense Tracking: Log daily expenses, set budgets, categorize spending, and view financial analytics.
• Analytics Dashboard: Comprehensive charts and insights across all tracked categories.
• Theme Customization: Personalize the App's appearance with multiple color themes.

3. Account Registration

• You must create an account to use the App. You may register using Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or email/password.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary.
• You must be at least 13 years of age (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction) to use the App.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Content and Data

• You retain ownership of all data and content you enter into the App ("User Content"), including habit entries, meal logs, expense records, weight entries, and photos.
• By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the App's services.
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your User Content.
• We do not claim ownership over your User Content and will not use it for purposes other than providing the App's services.

5. AI-Powered Features

• The App uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini AI) to analyze food images and descriptions, and to provide nutritional estimates and meal suggestions.
• AI-generated nutritional information is provided as an estimate only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional nutritional advice or medical guidance.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content.
• You acknowledge that AI features may occasionally produce inaccurate results and agree to verify important nutritional information independently.

• The expense tracking features are for personal record-keeping purposes only.
• Dayleveling is not a financial advisor, accounting service, or tax preparation tool.
• We do not access your bank accounts, credit cards, or any financial institutions.
• All financial data is manually entered by you. We are not responsible for inaccuracies in your financial records.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the App.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers, networks, or infrastructure.
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code.
• Use the App to collect data about other users without their consent.
• Create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes.
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or similar tools to interact with the App.

9. Intellectual Property

• The App, including its design, code, brand assets, logos, and all original content, is the intellectual property of Dayleveling and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
• You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our prior written consent.
• The "Dayleveling" name, logo, and associated branding are our trademarks. You may not use them without our explicit permission.

10. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase: For authentication, cloud database (Firestore), cloud storage, and serverless functions.
• Google Gemini AI: For food image analysis and nutritional estimation.
• Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In: For user authentication.
• Expo / React Native: For app development and push notification delivery.

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or availability of third-party services.

11. Push Notifications

• The App may send push notifications for water reminders, habit reminders, and other user-configured alerts.
• You can manage or disable notifications at any time through the App settings or your device's notification settings.
• We will not use push notifications for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
• We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
• In no event shall Dayleveling be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
• Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is less.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dayleveling and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of a third party.

14. Termination

• You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms.
• Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will continue to apply.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Dayleveling regarding your use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.
