- Profile Data: Height, weight, age, gender, calorie target, water intake goal, and other health-related preferences you choose to enter.

- Nutrition Data: Food logs, meal photos, scanned food items, calorie and macronutrient data.
- Water Intake Data: Daily water consumption logs and hydration history.
- Weight Data: Weight entries and progress tracking.
- Expense Data: Expense entries, categories, amounts, budget limits, and financial summaries you choose to log.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers.
- Usage Data: App interaction patterns, features used, and session duration for improving user experience.
- Camera and Photo Library Access: We access your camera or photo library only when you choose to scan food items or upload a profile photo. Images are processed to extract nutritional information and are not stored beyond what is necessary.
2.3 Information from Third-Party Services
- Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In: If you sign in using Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture as permitted by those services.
- Firebase: We use Google Firebase for authentication, data storage, and cloud functions.
- Google Gemini AI: When you scan food items, the image and food description may be sent to Google's Gemini AI service for nutritional analysis. No personally identifiable information is sent with these requests.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Provide and maintain the App: Deliver the core features including habit tracking, nutrition logging, water intake monitoring, weight tracking, and expense management.
- Personalization: Customize your experience based on your preferences, goals, and usage patterns.
- Analytics: Generate personal analytics and progress reports visible only to you.
- AI-Powered Features: Process food images and descriptions to provide nutritional information and meal suggestions.
- Push Notifications: Send reminders for water intake, habit completions, and other user-configured notifications.
- Improve the App: Analyze usage patterns to enhance features, fix bugs, and improve performance.
- Customer Support: Respond to your requests, questions, and feedback.
4. Data Storage and Security
- Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore), which provides encryption at rest and in transit.
- We also enable offline data persistence so the App functions when you are not connected to the internet. Data syncs automatically when connectivity is restored.
- Profile images and food scan images are stored in Firebase Cloud Storage with secure access rules.
- We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We may share data in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: We use Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, cloud functions) and Google Gemini AI (food analysis) to operate the App. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your data if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Safety: We may disclose data to protect the rights, property, or safety of Dayleveling, our users, or the public.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and Update: You can view and edit your profile information, health data, and preferences directly within the App at any time.
- Delete Your Account: You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email below. We will process your request within 30 days.
- Notifications: You can enable or disable push notifications through the App settings or your device settings.
- Camera/Photo Access: You can revoke camera or photo library permissions at any time through your device settings.
- Data Export: You may request a copy of your personal data by contacting us.
7. Children's Privacy
Dayleveling is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

Your data may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States (through Google Firebase and Google Cloud). By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your data to these locations, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.
